Hotel Sunflex Kagoshima

The hallways and common areas were boiling hot.

Pretty standard place with a great view. Comfortable and unbeatable location, just a short walk away from Kagoshima City Aquarium. Based close enough to the port, lots of convenience store and restaurants around the area that is open until late in the evening, and a supermarket and ferry terminal for yakushima. Very good service, parking nearby.

Satisfactory breakfast with good standard-choice of Japanese, coffee refills and also tea or coffee for every taste. Nice building and rooms with a view of sakurajima. Favourable and perfect location in the shopping area, right by the harbour and the Dolphin port and the port for Yakushima Toppy/Rocket...

The room was cozy but definitely on the smaller side. It had all the essentials like a kettle and fridge, nice. The bed was comfortable enough for a couple, and I loved that I could cast YouTube on the TV. Location was great, just a short walk to the ferry. It was like good value for the price.

We had a fantastic family stay, especially since the free breakfast was a hit with our teenagers. The staff was super friendly and even helped us navigate local eateries. The location was perfect, just a short walk from shopping and restaurants.
